ooooooffffff!
hai cheng's over! hahaha:D
it was quite a success.. *grInz* went much better than we thought (in terms of the audience, the participation level, the standard of the shows, the coordination of lights and sound...) longyuan and i were so delighted tt it's over tt we hugged each other and jumped around even when the flower spirits were still dancing outside:P
gosh. was quite a disastrous day... tempers flew here and there... longyuan was terribly irritated with fu lei(director of hua hun---the play i'm in) 'cos he was adjusting the lights for us during the rehearsal of the play longyuan was directing. and one of the pa pple was criticizing us saying 'i've never seen any concert where the pple are still adjusting the lights one hour before the play'.
i hope she realises that it's not a concert. and having been in pa in sec sch for 4 years, i've seen plenty of concerts and plays not finishing their lights EVEN WHEN it's just before the audience came in.
it's 'cos we only had one small week to practice the whole thing. and the play i'm in - hua hun-..only started practicing like 3 weeks ago? and it's a play in which every character's action has to be fine-tuned 'cos the background atmosphere will affect the whole scene quite a lot.
moreover, they only gave us 2 hours in the entire week to practice our lights:P
anyway. there's some pple i really am pei4 fu2 after the performance...
one of them to mention is our former chinese teacher (the 2nd one from last year). her art is really good! she drew the ying hua tree and she did it alone. yah. btw, ALL of the props were made by us!:D except for the sofa and the tables and the chairs, EVERYTHING ELSE was made by us! cool right? including the screen and the gui4 zi in third play 'gui4 zhong1 yuan2' they looked so professional we really thought tt the school bought it. i think they can sell it or something. hahaha:D
another person i pei fu is the director... even in the credits, he chose not to show up...sticking to his word of not asking for credit or name, nor wanting any cip points. i think he's quite a good director...hua hun would not make it in a mere 3 weeks without him.
and i pei fu jia yun fei, our assistant director as well. he had to direct the props pple, and most of the time, also direct us...yet his tone was still one of encouragement and everything. anyway, today's his birthday and we celebrated it for him after the performance. hahahah:D
yeah! the hua hun pple are going out on one of the days to celebrate...hehehe. and the director and assistant directors are treating us!:D now...where shall we go?;)
ohoh! wanna thank jits and steph and lydia and thongkheng for coming down to support:) couldn't entertain u all 'cos my makeup was really TOO horrendous.
my initial clothes have always been one of blue shirt and skirt, but then haimeng says tt the colour is too much like hers, so laoshi lent me one of the shirts she brought, which was...PINK:P and the makeup artist looked at my clothes, and gave me this horribly bright and 'youthful' style. i nearly died when i looked into the mirror.
hope everyone enjoyed the show. it's time for me to marinate tmr for taekwondo. *grInz*
one down.
one to go.
