We are the reason that He suffered and died
To a world that was lost He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live-
indeed. to a world that was lost, He gave all He could give (His life), yet people don't wish to accept it. the sheep wants to keep wandering around. when will the lost sheep return to the shepherd one day? it's dangerous out there. predators lie in wait of hurting the sheep. Jesus wants to offer us shelter, comfort from the dangers lurking around. would you come back to Him?
was very heartwarming today when you see all the people returning to Christ in service today:) it's good to know that they can have a relationship with Jesus from a young age, and can make sense of what is going on around them in the world through His word.
-o what peace we often forfeit,
o what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry,
everything to God in prayer-
think it's important for people around to know the fact that christianity is all about a relationship with God. what pastor jeff says is very true. if u merely go to church without a living and loving relationship with Jesus, you're not a christian, same as if u go to burger king, you're not a hamburger.
