wooohooo. hahaha:D going for a gala premiere for the first time was an interesting experience. hahaha:D
spiderman 2's gala premiere was held at cathay cineleisure:D hehe.
sis had to surrender her hp to the security at level 1 'cos it can take photos... then we went up to level 2 and there were ushers to usher us especially through buttercup coffee to the other side instead of having to walk one big round..hahaha:D that was the first 'privilege'. then we went up to the fifth level...they actually closed the entire ticketing booth area on level 5 from 7-10pm especially for this event and there was dinner! hahaha. there was a buffet...quite a high class one. haha... as well as people wearing quite formal wear walking around... drinks came in champagne glasses (goodness knows why) and food was refilled constantly. it looked kinda like a formal party actually, with people gathering in small groups and talking amongst themselves. quite an interesting atmosphere.
saw lots of tcs artistes... saw wong qing hai (hahaha! qing's choice!), jeff wong, lai yilin, cai ying ying (melissa), pan lingling and her husband and her two sons, huang biren, zeng shi mei(priscilla) and some other channel 5 and channel 8 artistes i can't remember the names of...also saw the members of train! hahaa.
mrs goh chok tong was actually standing beside me before i realised that she was standing beside me ..only realised it when the cameras started to gather around. sister and i were quite trapped 'cos we had the tcs artistes in front of us and mrs goh chok tong beside us and the wall behind us. hahaha.
got signatures 'cos sister wanted them...wanted to help qing get the autograph of wong qing hai...we tailed him but he was eating, so we decided it's not good to disturb, then after eating, he was talking to his friend and then he went into the theatre.
before going into the theatre, we had to go through a security scan again and before going into the theatre, we were each given a lollipop stuck inside a spiderman thing..dunno wat it's called. at our seats, there was a notebook with spiderman featured on the front page.
and spiderman 2 was good! gosh. the shooting, the cinematography was wonderful! but quite scary at the front part. and the sound. whoa. the sound system was...
whoa. the sound was so visual.
and after the movie ended (go watch it!!! 4 and a half stars recommendation!), we were all given a packet of drink. hahaha.
i think the whole aim of a gala premiere is to make the guest feel pampered. haha. quite amusing.
interesting experience anyway. but nothing compared to the star whom i met in the afternoon!
He rocks!
He's more dashing than the most dashing person and has made millions and trillions of people fall in love with Him. Over the years, all other stars fade away, but gosh! People fall over in love with Him again and again and again, all through the century, all through the years.
When you focus on your attention on Him, gosh...nothing else can take your breath away more than Him. He makes think of Him alone and all my troubles, all my worries, they become so teeny weeny you can hardly see them.
and the best of all, i can talk to Him everyday! what more can i ask for?;)
