i was looking at the cocoons and thinking
'if God can provide such unique protection for a small insect such as a silkwork (which will become a silkmoth), what more can He provide for all of us, created in His image, His beloved creation?'
really wanna thank God for the teachers i have in school. it's like, we've got the best tutors or something. we've got mr chan, who's a really understanding tutor who doesn't seem like a tutor, but is a friend to us instead, someone who knows what we're going through, someone who has been in the same environment as us and understands our mindsets, someone who is genuine in his actions and care for the students. then we've got mr ho, a dedicated and hardworking teacher who could have taken the easy way out in teaching maths but chose instead to heap lots of frustration and anxiety upon himself as he goes through every question in the tutorial, explaining the concepts, making sure we're clear of the foundations, and yet trying to meet the dateline which the HOD of maths will set (of course, we always seem to miss it.) a teacher who tries to connect with us (by emails, by what he said) but somehow lacks a little more knowledge in doing so. he tries hard though. and then we have mrs teo, hod of biology. i'll never forget how she came into class and told us 'regardless of your performance last year, this year is this year and this year, we all start anew.' and all her stuff about how when we love the subject, we try our best to love the topics which we do not particularly like as well. and all her little facts about everything in biology which will really spark off an interest in us and inspire us to know more than what we have to learn. and her humour which will tickle all of us and makes her out to be a teacher who's personal and still have a childlikeness in her which amazes me sometimes. a very honest teacher who tries to think things from our perspectives (eg. 'eh...i don't quite understand why you all need to talk in lectures, what do you all think about it?') and she'll have that puzzled expression which causes the whole class to laugh once more. stressless lessons. and we have mr lee! hahaha. active advocator of judo. i think if he can, he'll let us watch movies all day long and let us surf websites with political humour. a teacher whom, at the moment, i can't really say much of... but i'm sure glad that he always books the english resource room (with its comfortable sofas and cooling aircon) for our gp lessons. cynical sometimes as he is, he still shows his worry for us occasionally (like before the prelims. hahaa). a teacher with a wide range of knowledge and certainly very interesting to talk to if you're bored.
:)
yeah. tt's all. tata.
