yes. after some pondering, i've decided on a few resolutions to be implemented soon. like tomorrow?

1) do a tutorial per day about SATs. simply because i've been neglecting it and since everyone's been talking about it, i figured i might as well start too.

2) spend sparingly. very broke:D (presents and lost money and all that)

3) eat less. no more buffets and snack and snacks and more snacks for me.

4) start clearing up my room:D will be updating my progess...think it'll be one of the reasons to keep me going. hahahah:D

5) expound on the wonders of walking. daily. hahaha:D maybe i'll go swim again. though swimming does cause my hair texture to deteriorate:P

yup:D the other resolutions will be between God and me:D shall update about the success (yes! success!) of my resolutions next time:D

i didn't have a very nice dream last night...of all strange things to dream about...i dreamt that there was this teacher who caught her students just to eat them up..mostly males (she's surprisingly nicer to females)then i remembered i was amongst a few who were caught...and we were pleading with her not to kill us and she was just nonchalent...then the guys were pleading too...then somehow the next scene was of all of us standing, facing the sky and singing to God, somehow with the knowledge that if we sing passionately, we will all not be eaten:D
yeah well. i'm supposed to go bathe now. shall update what happened to me later:D

tutoring the kids seem to be more and more tiring day by day...especially when the students seem to be increasing in number. hahaha:) got to know this girl,genevieve on wed..'cos she was waiting for her social service centre to open at 1pm, then i decided to stay outside and do some stuff before going for shepherding, so i decided to accompany her:) talked a bit...got to know the mentality of the students in CHIJ something about lady of the nativity or something, not sure... yup:) got to know the area a bit more too. at least i could walk from hougang mall to the sch this morning:D yeah!
felt like a nanny today...hahaha:D promised her to accompany her once more today, then we went to huiyuan's house, then i said i'll follow her back to her sch, just to make sure she doesn't get lost or something...and then i had to walk her home...which is past hougang mall, 3/4 way across some neighbourhood thing, which caused me to emerge super near punggol park is. ah wellz. long way to walk. quite exhausted:) but okay i guess...since i'm only seeing them for the last day tmr:)
anyway, i think wat chiew said was quite true, we're quite pampered down there:D getting soon kueh and curry puffs and today, roti prata for breakfast. muahahaha:D
btw, if u all are looking forward to keeping a pet free-of-charge and easy to take care of, you can try considering weavers:D 'cos this girl, josephine, is currently breeding weavers and they seem quite harmless, just rather small (u've gotta be careful not to squash them:D)

i've been absorbing myself in the colourful world within the tv screen:D starting from last night, i decided to amuse myself by watching a musical on arts central called 'D'elisir D'amore'. frankly speaking i have no idea what it means...all that i can guess is that it could mean 'the elizir of love' wait...elizir looks a bit weird. looks like it's of a wrong spelling. ah well. hahaha. it's Italian! so cool! oh. it's really the wrong spelling. right spelling is 'the elixir of love' wah! i translated the thing correctly! and found a website for it:D go to the 'the elixir of love'
today...i watched the cartoon 'a monkey's tale' ...it's about two tribes of monkeys who didn't trust each other:D westlife sang the theme song...and it's actually quite interesting, talking about how 'we were two, now we are one' you can get the song lyrics from here:D and know more about the movie here:D
i also watched 'ben xiao hai'...think it's english name is 'broken heart' or something similar:D...was quite an...interesting(?) movie. ah wellz.

went for nygep gathering yesterday:D quite amusing. 1 yr has passed and nothing much has changed. good good:) the company was wonderful, and the bonding was nice, very nice very nice:D let's have another one! hahaha:D

today. me, hui yuan, weez, jits and chiew went to chij punggol to help primary 4 and 5 students with their maths:D *grInz* saw yancy there!:D ended up in the same classroom as yancy, jitsy and this guy called zijian (who was once my maths tutor:D)children there are quite nice! all girls. hahaha:) primary 4 pple consisted of sangeetha (the one i'm teaching, sweet girl:), phriya, grace and joanne:D...primary 5 students were much more...10 of them. and we only have 3 pple at that time 'cos yancy had to go early. i was helping four girls - marilyn, stephanie (hahaha!)...and ehz, i can't remember:D ah wellz:D nice pple too! they actually do their maths quite fast. haha.

hohoho:D had a major matrix/philo/'i-think-therefore-i-am'/logic discussion with huichun and huiyuan (two huis!:D) at nus arts fac canteen today. hahahaa:) quite interesting:D we made a lot of lame comments, looked at huichun's interesting logic stuff and talked a bit here and there about stuff. i kept persuading them to watch matrix:D we're watching matrix next week! (i think). now the main thing is, does anyone has the matrix vcds?:D:D:D:D:D hehehehe. btw, me and hui yuan has decided to take the level 2000 paper (is that what it's called???) for philo instead of the 1000 one...'cos the 1000 one seems harder to us than the 2000 one. ah well:)
anyway, was buying sugar-coated peanuts outside the university hall when i realised that the packet wouldn't fall out. then i decided to buy another packet but the latter packet didn't fall out as well...huiyuan decided to buy the third packet and in the end both the second and third packet fell out. ah wellz. so in the end i got two packets of sugarcoated peanuts and huiyuan (who didn't wanna eat them originally) had to eat them too. hahaha:D got a bit sick after i ate so many peanuts. won't be eating them again anytime soon (i hope)

and thankfully meixue was at the hostel to pass money to lijia so i dun have to travel down to VS hostel just to pass $15 from the club fund to her. saved me quite a lot of time:) time used for other purposes:D

EXPLAIN GOD

One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn't make grown-ups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way He doesn't have to take up His valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.
God's second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime. God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this.
God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn't go wasting His time by going over your Mom and Dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have.
Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista. At least there aren't any who come to our church.
Jesus is God's Son. He used to do all the hard work like walking on water and performing miracles and people finally got tired of Him preaching to them and they crucified Him. But He was good and kind, like His Father and He told His Father that they didn't know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said "O.K."
His Dad (God) appreciated everything that He had done and all His hard work on earth so He told Him He didn't have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven. So He did. And now He helps His Dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones He can take care of Himself without having to bother God. Like
a secretary, only more important. You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.
You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there's anybody you want to make happy, it's God. Don't skip church to do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach. This is wrong. And besides the sun doesn't come out at the beach until noon anyway.
If you don't believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can't go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can. It is good to know He's around you when you're scared in the dark or when you can't swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.
But...you shouldn't just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and He can take me back anytime He pleases. And...that's why I believe in God.

God has His timing:) and i thank God for His people...who are so accepting and loving:)
i was looking at the sky in the evening whilst i was at the corridor walking back home and i saw such soft wisps of clouds in the sky. can't help marvelling at them:) and i got reminded of what rachel said before. indeed. i can't help marvelling at the creator of these marvels in life as well:)

yeah! pw op is officially over:) it was relatively okay, i guess...except that i had to speak rather fast so as to be able to cover all the contents within the things i have to cover:) steph's group's intro was quite interesting, and set a sentimental mood, but alywin kinda spoiled it once he started speaking. in my opinion anyway.

went to parkway to eat and saw two actors from channel 8...the MC king guy and some older person i forgot the name of:) then...we went to yoshinoya 'cos pat wanted to buy a cookie, and we saw Mr Boy, Mr Toh and some other jolly teacher whcih i dunno the name of:) hahaha. but serene and pat didn't see them and wanted verification. proof. hahha:) so, when we saw them at the bus-stop from the other side of the road, and a bus was coming, serene started to take off and shouted 'leslie!' on the bridge. we ran to catch up with them. quite amusing:D
and due to the fact that we can't tell the teachers that there's a back-gate which we can get into school by, we had to pretend to love looking at the structure of a flower...hahaha:) mr toh walked past and seriously believed us when we said we're interested in plant bio. *grInz*
mr boy says he has never seen joseph before...must intro them next time!:D *beamz* doing gpf now...hopefully it'll get us a good grade!

anyway, today was pw day too:) went back to school 'cos mr chan wanted to talk to the whole class about the gpf (group project file):) was 15 mins late (uh-oh), then turns out that serene was the only one of my group there:D hahahaha:) nice jacko-mama saw that i forgot to bring my shou ces home yesterday and brought in today for me:D *grInz* she nearly fainted when i said i wanted to throw them away. hahahaa:) went a little nutty doing stuff around, reading pat's amusing typed out minutes (Jac: does oral contraception encourage infedelity? All: (in unison) no!!!) which i thought sounded like a script:) and choosing colours for dividers for individual sections:) hahaha:)
we went to siglap to eat...tried teh bing (iced milk tea...now it sounds like bubble tea) there...very fulling! ate lor mee, which was not bad except that the uncle added too much vinegar. hahaha:) went a bit crazy when pat bought drinks at 7-eleven. you know the machine that dispenses soft drinks and there's music at the same time? pat was deliberately filling up the drinks little by little so that she can listen to the music and comment on them. hahaha:) guy at the counter was quite amused...he grinned at us when we started laughing like nuts and went out of the store.
continued with pw for the rest of the day:) had a nice time today as well:) all of us were super efficient. hahahaha:) meeting tomorrow once more:) another wacky day perhaps?

was happily typing away about wenjiang's birthday when the comp suddenly went mad and black and decided to cause internet explorer to be numb towards my commands and the system to turn a deaf ear towards what i click:D hehehe:) so i had to restart the system. ah well:)
anyway, as i was saying, i've been doing pw these days:D printed out pw stuff yesterday morning till 11am...would have been late for service if i haven't decided to take a taxi down:) reached at 11.15am:D only took 15 mins!
service was refreshing and gave me an new experience:) actually, i was reflecting a bit about my attitude towards God on sat night...then i decided that i need to change a bit, so sunday service was quite a new experience in the case that for the first time, worship seems much much more joyful and uplifting to me than praise. felt much closer to Him:)
celebrated wenjiang's birthday in the afternoon:D the whole buncha us were huddled together in the Asia room. Shu wen joined us too!:D we had a delightful time of affirming him (and suaning him. hahaha:) not really lahz...'cos he's quite corny, then actually got 2 grps bought corn for him. well.) we were quite worried that the sprinklers might by set off when we lighted the candle for his cake, but nothing happened:D hehehe:)
actually, can really see wenjiang's heart for his people and the vision:)
and in the room, while everyone was together and sharing, i can't help but feel the love that's spread about once more:) knowing that all of us belong in the same family, the same vision, relatively selfless people:) all of us growing together, helping, sharing truthfully about aspects in our lives - the the good, the not-so-good, the ugly and the ugliest. knowing that all of us love Him together as well:) ah.
anyway, i had pw afterwards:) which lasted until 10pm at jac's house with jac, serene, jac's family and husky the dog:D *grInz* quite an amusing time. pastor prakich was right...u see a person truely in his/her house:)
dad came to pick me up at night..he only appeared 30 mins after he said he's reaching pasir ris:D mum says they've been circling around and round and can't find the place. hahaha:) then we took another 20mins to try to figure out how to get out of pasir ris to tampines, then to the PIE, then to the CTE:) very funny. kinda lost inside there:)

eating pasta now:D large shells swimming in lotsa sauce. yummy. pasta simply cannot survive without lots and lots of sauce:) i'm in food heaven~!
had chinese AOs today..no inspiration for chinese compo...think i kinda peaked in inspiration for mock paper. ah wellz. too bad then. then the paper itself, nothing we learned came out (except for one miserable cheng yu)...hehehe:D
went for the ecclesiology seminar...was quite doubtful unto what i'm supposed to do, where it is and everything...xinyi assured me that it's at nexus. hahaha:D went there, then the counter person enthusiastically said hi (quite amusing)...and just basically helped me from there. then i went in and sat at one of the green seats until xinyi came, and eventually jason. saw rachel and freddy too:D (only after a long while though... hehehe:)
pastor prakich, the pastor who was teaching us, was not exactly what one considers as charismatic...but he's got very firm principles (and a sense of humour as well) that can really be seen. he's also got a spirit of deacon, always wanting to serve, to do more for the kingdom of God...he was telling us about how his regional pastors will try to trick him into resting and all that. quite amusing:)
i thought teaching was quite...inspiring:D i dunno why...but i felt terribly motivated after the seminar. hahahaha:) the 'women in ministry' did help to clear out some doubts about verses in the bible. strange how greek words can portray some stuff differently from english words even when they seem similar:)
saw fungi today when i went to ps to eat with xinyi and jason...also saw jieyu, javin, yongxiang and lots of vs guys in ps upon a second trip to ps:D
lost my buspass...hopefully i dropped it in nexus:)

went to amk main house with steph after chinese...interestingly, no one was in the house:) jason had to take a cab down to open the door for us. hahhaa:) yup! me, huichun and steph cooked spaghetti! sauce of mushroom with herbs taste yummy:D then we watched 'matilda':) then ziwei came, we all talked...and then... she revealed that she has clay aiken in her discman!:D aaaaahhhh!:D:D:D
