first day of relief teaching today. bus took an entire hour to reach north vista...yepz. that's where i'm teaching. north vista secondary school...which emphasizes on breeding fine ladies and true gentlemen...which sounds quite amusing to me. but i dun think the school will appreciate it if i tell it to them:)
they actually emphasize very whole values...like integrity, treating others with respect, self-disciple that kinda stuff. hahaha.
i'm co-form teacher with anne, who was teaching in AHS...we found each other familiar. hahahaa:D so funny. ended up deducing that it's 'cos she used to bring her students for vj openhouse and what-nots. yeahhhh... she teachers english and geog. hahaa:)
the teacher i'm relieving is miss lee beeyan...hahah. actually she's still in the school..but having her practical, so she'll be following another teacher around. very nice person! very young and roly-poly:D very fun to talk to anne and beeyan. hahaha.
actually the teachers there are all relatively young..'cos the sch is young. so yepz. hahaha. so yepz. quite fun to talk to them. then you'll usually see how commenting on students, comparing notes on them, talking about appearances deceiving pple...trying to choose a rep without much success. oh yes.
i forgot to mention. my co-form class is 2E5 (for the first time in my life, i know why it's 2E5, 3N3 that kinda stuff)... hahaa. yes. my class is 2E5 and guess what?
SENGKIM'S BROTHER IS IN MY CLASS. hahahahahahaha! superbly funny.
yeah. took 2E5 today. quite a nice class. just a bit too talkative. took 3N3 too. quite okay also. a group of guai students, a group of super talkative and mischievious boys who mean no harm, a group of sian pple, a group of 4 ah lians who're giving me the least respect.
i wonder how 1E1 will be like. i wonder about 4T2 too. gosh. and all the teachers were scaring me about how sec 4 normal tech students will tend to climb over ur head. scary. hahaha:D
actually i was really nervous this morning. 'cos NO ONE briefed us on what to do. NO ONE gave us any materials. we were supposed to just go into class and *poof* wow. become a super-teacher. hahaha. but i prayed on the way there...and really really wanna thank God for beeyan who took it upon herself to teach me a few tactics and some things to tell the students. poor kaimei (who's also relief-teaching chinese, also from vj) was like saying how she looked at the students and the students looked at her and for 5 mins she didn't say anything. hhehe. sharline was teaching english and something else which i can't quite recall. oh! met this other girl (not from vj) who's teaching geog O_o. her name is Clarice. hahaha:D
yeahhhhh.
i forgot to bring the sec 4 normal tech books home to prepare for tmr's lessons. hahaha. how disastrous. shall just do housekeeping. doubt they'll bring their books anyway.
