-to see You high and lifted up
shining in the light of Your glory-
these verses particularly stands out at me today... in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
how hard it is for us to find joy in whatever we do. when we fail our exams, where does joy come from? when we have to face seperation, where does joy come from? when circumstances go bad, where does joy come from as well?
but indeed, joy doth cometh from Lord, resting in the His presence and knowing the peace. joy cometh from knowing that the Lord loves you for who you are, no matter what. His love level never drops under 100%.
i thank God for the joy and peace i've found in Him even as i experienced some internal turbulance today.
i really don't like change. that feeling of not knowing about a lot of factors, about missing people whom you're so close to after a while, of things changing just when fruits are finally appearing. in fact humanly, i oppose change.
but i've got to learn i guess. to see things in a bigger light:) as pastor jeff said, for the first time in history, Hope is having a caregroup in EVERY JC in singapore. cool yah?:D hahhaa:D
and poor huichun doesn't have to travel all the way from jurong west down to vj again...not for now anyway:) will miss my shepherd a lot (dunno if i'm changing...most prob though), will miss ziwei and huichun too. and the ns guys... and the graduated former j2s...
but at least we'll still see each other, just not as frequently:) and we'll forever remain brothers and sisters:)
