heh. quite tired out by today:) 'cos didn't have a good sleep last night, yet still had to wake up relatively early this morning:) couldn't make it for prayer meet... so sad! when i reach nexus, pastor jeff was already finishing the last part of his prayer. ah well.
was sitting beside jingting during service today...found out tt she's quite a fun person:) both of us made funny faces at the same time and laughed at each other. seng kim said tt he could hear us from the other end of the seats. ah well:)
speaking of which, seng kim is derek's nephew! can u believe it? just found out today when i met huichun, marcus, jason and derek to celebrate the birthdays of huichun and marcus. yup:D quite a fun time together:D joy happily joined us too:)
we had cg404 meeting today...the meeting of the titans. yeah! quite amusing:) quite surprising too. ah well:) getting more integrated with the youth system...and considering tt vj has already been pioneered, i'm really quite delighted with the whole thing.
quite encouraged today actually...'cos they were giving out stuff to encourage units and pple today...well. i got one! whee. they spelled my name wrongly though. haha:)

my ear's bleeding again:| left ear's giving me quite a lot of problems.. so sad.
anyway, today was quite an interesting day.
woke up at 1.33am this morning to find tt i have 6 mosquito bites on my left hand (again) in an hour and a half of sleep... applied lots of medicated oil so tt they'll run away 'cos of the smell, then had to switch off the fan to sleep 'cos the oil got my skin feeling very cold.
woke up at 6.20am and realised i've got bites on my leg this time. sigh. fell asleep again... and then woke up at 7.05am! i was like. eh. oh dear. sat up on bed, then weezi called. hahaha:D
went down at 7.10-7.15am (can't remember) to try and get a taxi...waited and waited...no taxi in sight! got a bit anxious...and was just thinking maybe i can just go to sch late or something...then a taxi came at 7.20am:D hehee.
took only 16 mins to reach the school compound. quite cool eh? a bit longer than the time taken for me to reach orchard in a taxi. ah well. money spent was $7.50. not very fun though.
anyway, happily joined the crowd in walking into the pt for the sexuality talk. hahaha. quite interesting. presentation was very nicely done up (coolest presentation i've seen in yrs or something similar).yeah well.
maths lesson wasn't very friendly. hahaha.
wanted to donate blood..lydia and steph kindly accompanied me to the english resource room... we talked to the medical officer and it turns out tt none of us can donate at tt moment. told the mo i've got a cough and he said 'see u in 3 weeks' time' :| he said i've got a nice vein for donating blood though:P hehehe. steph's on medication..and one of it is a type of steroid:D so can't donate either. lydia apparently has cute and fragile red blood cells tt'll explode in someone else's body...and the mo said it's no use getting her to bleed when the cells will die. then he said she can donate plasma, but she's gotta be 52kg and above. well. lydia says she's not going to put on weight to donate blood. hahaha:D the mo was quite funny. all three of us were rather amused at the end of it all.
saw tt some classmates were feeling very worn out...and can't help thinking of a comment somebody made...tt vj pple are overworked.
ah well. met jocelyn today...got to know her a little better. hehe:) saw chian siew...got to know her a little better too.

hehehee. went down with youth park with qing to look at fungi compete in the national indoor rowing championships (if i dun remember wrongly...of course, there's a high possibility tt i remembered wrongly). we arrived just on time, just when the competition was about to start:D *heh*...saw fungi's family there to support here as well. quite cool:) they got first.

then went to PS to study with twin... hehe. chiew and yun came to kfc to find me before they went to watch movie..how nice:D
saw 4 Hope brothers and sisters from the uni district today too:) someone called Joel (she's a female), sharon's sister and two guys of whom the names i have no inkling of. i know one of the guys though. how odd.

i realised tt i don't have a big vision for God...the human in me keeps thinking tt everything will grow in a chronological order...first this, then tt...but God is using circumstances to teach me that sometimes things can move very fast indeed. hehhe:D
VJ now has 7 Hope pple. actually 8... forgot to count one person last time. There's me, jitsy, jiali, lilin, yao guo, kelvin and qian xiu (who just joined us:D)...the last person i forgot to count was Mr Boy. hahaha!:D 7 youth pple. yeah!
eunice came for service especially for huichun today!:D so sweet. hehee. now if only pple will come for service especially for me:D *hints* hahah! kidding. i'll jump for joy if pple who come to service allow their names to be written in the book of life.serious.
yeah anyway. back to the vision part. pray for me people? pray tt i'll be able to have a big vision for God and have faith in what He can do through me. like wenjiang's vision of wanting to preach to 100 000 pple. yup. actually i had a vision from God last student camp...but pray for me to know for sure tt it came from God. yup:)

i really want to watch Anastasia again! i like the plot, i like the songs, i like the characters and i don't seem to get sick of watching it:D hehe.
God showed me a lot of things through circumstances today...things about another person, about myself, about how i deal with circumstances.
i'm glad i have Him...'cos knowing myself, if i don't have God's strength and patience with me, i would just abandoned a lot of stuff today and went off to sulk or something. but i didn't.
still have lots more to grow in though:)

met pple unexpectedly today...met twin to study at clementi...was on bus 196 when the bus went past her school and she got on the bus, looked blur for a while, saw me, grinned and sat beside me. the strangest thing is tt we didn't plan to meet on the same bus. yup:D
then we went to macs...and around 4+, we started to have little breaks (twin calls them 'commercial breaks') and twin was telling me how she first met the pt cg pple at the corner opposite us and about her first experience with joy and jieyun...then i wanted to comment tt i suddenly realised why the picture hanging directly opposite me looks so familiar, it's 'cos there was a photo with tt photo, mingxiu and some other pple in it. ah well:D it was then...that joy appeared in front of us and we couldn't help but exclaim 'cos it was too much of a coincidence. ah well. hehehhee:D quite amusing:D
then twin had to get something from junting and she asked me if i wanna go along...yup. so junting's the third person we saw today:D
then me and twin were commenting about how interesting it was tt we're seeing the Hope pple unexpectedly today when she suddenly commented 'why does that guy look so much like pastor jeff?' it was pastor jeff! hahaha:D standing outside of macs waiting for someone. hehehe. we went out and said hi...hahaha:D
heh. then we were abt to go home and twin wanted to buy stationery...so we went around to find big bookshop, and we walked along the road ('cos tt's the shortest distance to clementi mrt station) and me and twin walked through a coffeeshop, and i walked through the chairs and tables while twin went onto the inner path.. as i walked past the chairs and tables, i saw two guys walking towards me and i thought 'oh no, i hope i don't bang into them. they're going to block me!' 'cos the aisle was quite small...as i walked past the second person, he suddenly said 'hello!' and i turned and i realised tt it was pastor jeff again. hehehe:D and the first guy is his sheep. yup. so in all, i saw 5 Hope pple in Clementi today. cool yah?;)

was just commenting tt it was cross country yesterday and i didn't run much 'cos i was sprouting a cough.. poor steph got kinda dragged down by me:)..heh. but at the end of it all, i felt as if it was the best run i have in years or something 'cos didn't use much energy, so i still felt quite relaxed even when pple around me look like they're dying.
anyway, rushed down for prayer meet and reached there when it's half over. hehehe. met yao guo on my way up to nexus. i was thinking how strange it is tt two pple can start out from the same place, take different forms of transportation and still reach at the same time. ah well:D
met shepherd @ the mrt station after prayer meet to get some stuff from her...she needed change so she went to bread talk and bought something for me as a v-day present. haha.
service went back to a more familiar format yesterday:) and the teaching was quite amusing in the sense tt we've had it in adult service before. ah well:) the points were brought out in a different way though...i copied down the notes too...to add on to what i already had:)
stayed back after service outside nexus 'cos i had to pass something to rachel...saw jessie! she changed her hairstyle...now she looks more 'punkish'. haha. pastor jeff came along and asked if i was adapting well... then he seemed quite surprised tt i know jessie...then jessie said 'she's my first three months classmate!' and i repeated the same thing. haha. for the rest of the time we said the same line to other pple. priscilla came along and was surprised to know tt i know jessie too. ah well:) talked to joanna and shouted to twin:D saw freedy and nicholas, jean, huiling and rachel as well. yeah!
i wanted to comment on a nice show i watched on channel 8 yesterday night...it started from 7pm..but i never caught its title. it was a show tt subtly brought out its meaning. it's a movie tt can be felt. though the ending's a bit :P, the way the feelings were brought out in its audience was good indeed.

i am officially sick:D having a cough which happily goes over to my nose and turns into a cold as well. no fever though, thankfully:D makes my body feel a tad drowsy. in addition to the fact tt i'm having cramps right now, it's certainly not a good time to be me. hahaha:D
i think God saw tt i was sick. was supposed to go out today for two main reasons - weekly study time with twin and meeting with eunice... but circumstances made it neither happened. was quite amusing actually...eunice smsed me when i was on my way to orchard to say tt she's having stomachaches and can't get out. ah wellz:D i went back to toa payoh and decided to buy various things - lipstick (been having chapped lips), deordant (for after pe uses, have been borrowing steph's and lydia's) and socks. *grInz*
then i came home, watched tv, slept...and well. basically haven't started on my hw. oops. better start soon:D thankfully there's not much hw this week...only maths and bio tutorials. yeah! rocks:D
yeah anyway. draco rocks too! hahaha:) no need to explain why. we just do;)

didn't feel like a normal school day today...well. in the early recesses of the morning, we watched a movie called 'the city of God', ironically called 'cos of the fact tt it's a city in which God seemed to have abandoned (explained by Mr Li).
let's just analyse the way the movie is made. in terms of the way every event is linked, it was wonderful:D it was brilliant. gotta be one of the best cross-linked movies i've ever watched. everything was nicely linked together in a web. and the cinematography was quite good too...though too many repetitions of the same method made it predictable after a while:) i especially enjoyed the last part about why ned was shot and why otto was the one who shot him.
but what the movie was about was quite ...disturbing. i found the situation quite sad too...'cos it's like. circumstances have literally forced them into the pple they are... throughout the movie, you can see the humane side of all of them, the more vulnerable scenes in some of the scenes...like lil'Z and his close friend Benny, and how he felt when he wanted to ask a girl to dance...also, you can see that he truly loves Benny as a friend 'cos they grew up together, they did all the stuff together. pple who watched 'the city of God' will noe tt Lil'Z has a bloodthirst for murder.
something tt'll strike u hard is tt the kids are no longer innocent from a young age... very disturbing. they go around with guns to hold up gas trucks and shops, and there was a scene of a boy having to choose a child to shoot at. mr li said tt pple are lucky if they live to the age of 20.
btw, this movie is based on a real story. the narrator's still alive.
something else disturbed me. there was another scene in the show when Carrot's team decided to pray before they went out to shoot Lil'Z's team..and they were praying
'hallowed be our'
which i felt showed a double meaning. first was tt they were really praying tt their team would win over the other team and was quite apt considering how the movie plot was turning to...
the other was tt it struck me tt these pple are pple who know about God...but seriously, don't know God.
i dunno. but this movie made me wanna go help the pple down there.

i have a sudden liking for gray (another in-between colour)...not ther blogger post type of gray...but a stronger, more black type of gray. this gray.heh:) it's called dim gray:D yeah! dun think it's so obvious on white...but get something gray, this colour and black side by side...and the diff is quite obvious:D

i am VERY sick of chocolates:)
i ate nothing but chocolates from last night till today at 8.30pm. heheh:D
forgot to bring money to sch today...so had to survive solely on the stuff i was given:D weezi gave a glass bottle thingie filled with chocolates and sweets(gave me a pleasant surprise), chiew bought auntie annie's brownies for us(awww..sweet:D), grace baked brownies for us (sweet too!:D), lydia did flowers out of balloons and gave it to us(poor her, she said lots of balloons burst in her hands), steph did nice glittery testtubes with my name inside(she said the small testtubes dun look nice. i think they look adorable:D), corinne gave me a heart and a message (nice too! poor her...her chocolate got stolen), my sp - haidi bought my cups which are heart-shaped and came in a pair...i'll save it for the future...hahaha:D lubna gave snickers, dominique and libing gave m&ms, lots of pple gave sweets and hershey's kisses:D i remember huiling gave me a rocher and jacqueline passed around sugared cookies around class:D so sad peilee wasn't with us... ah wellz. ohoh! special mention. hahaha:D quite amusing. munbbill, juncheng, thongkheng and yupei bought up lots of roses and gave two each to all of the girls in the class:D so sweet! i can't imagine the amt they spent...one rose was like... $3? maybe they got it at the cost price of $2.80 each? o_O liting gave me hershey's kisses too!
oh dear. 9.03pm. i'd better go and watch tv first. will update later:D
eating meatballs i found in the kitchen. hope mum doesn't kill me:D

i dun feel hungry. maybe i ate too much yesterday. ate a fish burger at 7.30am...then ate nothing till 2.15pm when i shared fries with steph and rux... then ate M&Ms at 2.25pm... then didn't eat anything else...but somehow or another i didn't feel hungry.
i figured it's not good to feel un-hungry, so i just ate instant noodles with Prego's tomato mushroom sauce. tastes horrible to me. think dolmio's sauce is nicer:D but then...my stomach's still not giving me any signals to whether it's hungry or full. i hope this doesn't continue. if i dun feel hungry, i might not eat. what if i forget to eat? catastrophe!
had shepherding today:) i've learnt a lot of stuff from her from the past 10 months and 1 week. thank God for her:) may she impact more lives:) she's impacted mine rather:)

we sent huiyu off today...i figured why pple feel so sad when seperation comes is 'cos when pple leave, it's like a piece of puzzle suddenly gone missing. the picture's not whole. it feels weird to have the picture not whole...and all of a sudden, the whole puzzle seems insignificant while that hole is magnified. ah well:)

i think i'm suffering from a lack of magnesium... been having lots of hiccups and felt stranglely strange for no reason today. ate and ate and ate. and ate. and ate. felt vexed sometimes...and was strangely emotionless on the ride home. maybe laughing too much during taekwondo drained me out. watever it is, shall ask God about the underlying reason:)
dun think i'm a very good steward of money...need to improve much on this aspect. my poor mortal...she didn't get much stuff from me 'cos these few weeks i was rather broke. hehe:D ordered the balloon for her though (from biz club)..maybe i can get her something interesting too:) she doesn't strike me as a very picky person:)
forgot to bring my bus pass out when i left house today...was happily walking to the busstop when i put my hands into my pocket and found tt i left it at home. had to rush back home to get it...heh. saw the common cat on my way back...she ran with me to my house, waited outside for me, and ran with me back to the lift. hahaha:D didn't follow me the whole way though...stopped near a few pots of plants and just settled there. maybe she realised tt i don't have the time to pat her today. heh:) poor cat.
quite tired. 'cos of taekwondo. i desperately need to practice my side kick...it is disastrous. non-contact sparring was funny. 'cos we didn't dare to hit each other, so it was more of for show. ah well:) maybe next week will be better with the guards...then we can do contact sparring. hehehe:D

i slept my entire studying hours away...hahaha. feeling extremely awake now though:) ah well. thankfully tmr consists of multiple lectures, one gp tutorial (no hw!) and bio prac. yeah well:D
