was quite amused today during the two toilet trips which me and steph made during bio prac..:) during the first trip, we found out that the school has installed in every girls' toilet, a sanitary pad machine...those which u slot in 40 cents and out comes a box with a pad inside...then, dancing happened to come into the toilet...when steph saw dancing, she went 'hey!' and dancing went ...ehz. i dunno how she went. just remembered that she went totally excited and starting exclaiming... it was quite amusing. 'cos the exclamations were quite loud and everyone in the class near the toilet (including the teacher) turned to face us. hahahah:) i'm glad i quickly hid behind the wall. ah wellz:)
then the second toilet trip, we found out that the machine doesn't work. hahaha:) somebody put in 80cents and beat the machine till her hand hurts before she realised that it's of no use. ah wellz:)
yepz:) anyway, had bible study after school at city hall:) was happily sitting in long john's silver when suddenly i heard a familiar voice behind me. hahaha:) saw fungi! i have absolutely no idea how she popped up...ah wellz:) turns out that she's meeting qingz to buy a mambo bag in the afternoon at 4+:) yepz:) perked me up quite a bit:D brilliant:)

tuesday. tuesday was a day without lydia...'cos she sprained her ankle during pe on monday:) poor girl. anywayz, tuesday was quite nice too:) though seriously i dun remember what i did...except for taekwondo:) was quite surprised to find out that Hillsong's actually coming to Singapore...they're having two performances...one on sat and one on sunday night:) junting says the performances are supposed to be service as well:) yepz:) i guess i'll just pass it by...no money. hahahha:D and i found another nice place to do hw! the nice high tables beside the carrot cake stall in junction 8 foodcourt! except that u'll have to remember to buy something 'cos if u dun, u'll feel terribly guilty for being down there:) nice environment (if u ignore the noise), bright lights and not too cold aircon:D hahaha:)

yepz...anyway. sat:D sat was a marvellously brilliant slackish day in which all that i could remember was that i was sleeping throughout the entire day (well...i was suffering from a terrible lack of sleep...so much that it was affecting my mood on friday:D hehehehehehe:D) and went for bag-shopping during evening time:D didn't buy any bags though. saw this bag that i saw previously at heeren while i was buying serene's present with peilee and tracy (hehehe) selling for $12.90 in toa payoh while it was $20+ at heeren. hmmmz.
sunday! sunday we had a BRILLIANT service with the front of the auditorium having finding marlin stuff and visitors to the service having 'finding nemo' post-it pads and stuff around (which i think wasn't terribly fair. what about us? *sobsob* hahahha:D) and they were giving away 2 $10 sakae sushi vouchers to pple who'd give an answer to what a character will say at a particular scenario. and we had pastor jeff (he's usually in charge of youth service) giving the sermon:D about the prodigal son...thought it was quite interesting that it's mentioned once more...'cos there's actually a song written on the father running to the son part:D just like how our Father in heaven will run to anyone willing to turn back to Him:)
monday. didn't feel quite well..so i took early leave home:D rested a bit... home does have that soothing effect on a person:D well. felt better, then decided to go to the library to do hw:D yep. saw the librarian who's in charge of story telling to the kids and talked to her for a little bit:D still very friendly!:D everyone should come to toa payoh library to do hw:D rocks man!

let me start from last friday:) performed in the morning for chinese society:) yeah! made a friend from council in the meantime (nice person! she still owes me my shirt though...hahaha)...had fun. grinned like mad after the performance was over..blahblah. then we had maths buddy...which wasn't exactly very fun. but it could have been worse if not for steph's company (and later, rux's company) and the nice mentors (mentors! the freshmakers!) that we had on that day:) *beamz*:D
then...rushed down to orchard to meet pple:D *grInz* took a neocard. very happy 'cos some kind soul (the person with the 'cool and funky' hairstyle) treated the three of us to ice cream! the New Zealand thingie...which seriously speaking, i can't really recall the name:) ah wellz. and i tried the croquette sold at far east! both the original and the seafood:) and i ate yakitori! hahahah:)
yeah...then on the way to cuppage, we met steph, corinne, rux and lydia after they've had their sushi buffet:D hahahaa:) the number of pple i've met on friday's amazing...met like 10 pple i properly know as a friend in the first 15 mins i reached orchard:) ah wellz:)
then went to cuppage to have the university district meeting:D (haven't had one for like...ehz. three months or so?:D) we used nexus...had a wonderful slide show about the country of Sweden and it really brought out the need for our missions team to go forth and share christ with them:) yepz...i've always felt very inspired after attending prayer meets:D hehehehe:)

been busy with chinese society rehearsal these few days...ccas seem to be bugging for something nowadays...how odd. and financially, i'm going broke. Paid $10 for class fund, $4.30 for the photocopying of stuff, $6 for 2 pencils (ah wellz)and $5 to my PW fund...need to pay $20 to taekwondo fund, $12 for a chinese play (maybe i shouldn't go..), $10 for writers' circle and goodness knows what else. hahaha:D

can't wait for friday to arrive:D hahaha...i wanted to bring home my bio 10 years series today but i realised i left it backstage...so can't do bio hw. ah wellz. mr toh will slaughter me. hehhe:)

we had missions sunday today:D very cool! 'cos there were buskers handing out brochures and five buskers standing perfectly still and holding this globe that is sort of like a gigantic beach ball with lots of small flags pasted all over it:) i felt like poking them but jun ting says it isn't very nice to do so. so sad:D *grInz*:D
and we had praise and worship songs in all sorts of different languages playing before the service itself, and a video clip about our church planters in Johannesburg and Peru:D *grInz*:) it's very interesting to see south africans with our brothers and sisters singing together:) yepz:D

i really admire jun ting...she can handle SO MANY things in her life SO WELL. first she has her studying to begin with (the stress of doing well enough so that she won't lose her scholarship), then she has to juggle spending time with her family, friends and her ministry. Next, she has to ensure that all of her sheep get bible study once a week (me, mingxiu, hui chun and zi wei), then she's still the caregroup leader, which means that she has to ensure the spiritual well being of all of us too (me, jitsy, hui chun and ziwei) and last but not least, she also has to account to her own shepherd:)

i had the shock of my life today after sub-d prayer meeting. i was chatting with jun ting when i saw .....thong kheng!...at somerset mrt station control. he was just standing there and he waved to me. and i understood then what it means by eyes popping out and jaw dropping. i mean like, of all people to see! hahaha:) apparently there's a writers' circle outing...which well... i believe reuben sent an e-mail to inform us about it...BUT... my mailbox was too full:D *GrInz*

haha....using the imac comp in the library computer lab right now...really nice to use:D althoug seriously speaking, i dunno how to open the C:/drive. ah wellz. it's really very pretty...all clean and white and soft and creative and glassy:D classy computer...hahah:D i'm not very used to the keyboard though... but i'm sure if i use it more often, i'll get used to typing on it:) *grInz*:D

went for service as usual:) felt very refreshed:) very touched as well. 'cos i asked God for something...and during the praise and worship part, he clearly answered my prayer:) it's like, i haven't been very faithful to Him, but He's still walking with me, listening to my every request, and answering them:D when i saw the lyrics, i was like 'oh man...'
rushed to vj after service:) to find out that i'm supposed to be at vs hostel instead. hahaha:) had chinese society stuff:) we practiced for the play on national day:D i'm the mother! and there's gonna be a dance in the play:D very proud of us...'cos we wrote the play ourselves and we created the dance ourselves too:) oh. i'm acting as the mother:) and i'm dancing. so now i'm singing. and dancing:) dancing is no longer dancing:D nvm. talking nonsense:D oh yah. we're dancing to Jolin's 'shuo1 ai4 ni3'. nearly died when i heard the song and looked at the dance steps. it's so fast! but the senior who taught us the dance looks really zai when he did the dance.
oh no! i forgot to mention! the praise and worship team wrote a very nice song today! it's called 'Give' and it's to encourage pple to donate to the missions fund:D hahaha...but the lyrics are so rhyme-y and catchy, the music so jazzy, it could have easily beat most songs off the chart. i'm serious about it. it was so nice! i'm like, swooning over how the song is presented. pretty. hahhaa:D

yeah anyway.
i left the beach at 8++. hhahaa:) think chiew and weez and sze were going to kill me. ah wellz. walked with bowen to the bus-stop to take a bus to the sentosa's entrance. talked a bit:) then i realised that he's from nyj basketball team. i was like...huh? i've never seen u in the first three months! and he was like ...i didn't know u in the first three months either. haha:) really nice guy:) very happy to have the chance to get to know him better:) we talked throughout the bus ride to the entrance and out of sentosa. then we talked more on the taxi ('cos he's rushing home and i'm rushing to fish & co, so we took a cab together:) i really thank God for the opportunity to talk to this nice brother (bowen! not from bowen sec though. hahaha) and to know more about him and carrie:D oh yah! we found out that both of us went to the 'Magic of Love' thingie a few years ago! hahaha:D
fish and co was nice:D though somehow or another i dun seem to like it very very much. ah well:) the food wasn't too bad though:) and the company's of course great! met miss lee, sze, weez, chiew and jon. had a nice time together:) we should do that more often!:D and i still wanna see how eric lam looks like. haha:)
and then there's today. but there doesn't seem to be much space left, so it'll be another post once more:D

did flag day with stefiee in the morning on sat:D poor stefiee had to wait for me 'cos i was late. heh. too exhausted:) we went to vj to do our flag day!:D think the pple on that day were thinking 'these two girls must be mad. come and bother me on games day. sighz' ah wellz:) then corinne went with us to orchard to meet lydia:D guess what? i got a dollar on returning the donations:) supposed to be our morning wages! hahaha:D stef donated hers though:)
yepz anywayz, i rushed off to harbourfront mrt station to meet the rest to go to palawan beach for the 'wet and wild' beach event organised by the Gen-Acts club:D we had an exhilerating time at the beach. hahaha:D it was so nice! saw shuwen, maryanne (nyjc bballer after first three months), adeline (!!! my old classmate! was like, what??? adeline!!! hahaha:D) and jie ru (! remember? she gave me my first ever piggy back:D hahaha:) and there was this person from ajc called weiyang. i nearly started laughing. hahaha:D
yepz. we had a frisbee competition:) my group got second. so sad. we were fighting with carrie's team for the first.
oh yah! and we saw the shooting of 'quan2 ming2 chu1 dong4 qiang3 xian1 wan2'(ready, steady, go!) we were playing icebreakers when quan2 yi2 feng4 walked past and we just started cheering. hahah. really stupid. then we asked 'xian4 zai4 ni3 yao4 qu4 na2 li3?' ah wellz:) how spontaneous we are:D yupz. turns out that the red team and the green team both arrived at the destination at the same time. so they kinda argued it out (when the camera wasn't shooting). so interesting:D

ah wellz...had chinese soc meeting yesterday, we actually wanted to progress on the play that we've written but circumstances seem to be against us. firstly, many pple had to go quite soon after they reached ya3 xuan1. then, our drama coach commented that it's rather choppy..'cos we have a lot of 2 min scenes and he's afraid the audience won't be able to figure out the setting. ah wellz. so...we editted the play:) and now we've gotta meet on sunday to cast the roles and wat-nots. heh:D very tiring week. going out the whole day on sat...hopefully i'll be able to do everything nicely by the grace of God:D

we went to the old SPH building today and had an NE learning journey trip...got free magazines at the end of it all! (Home and Decor and Her World) during the refreshment time, i ate and ate and ate...so now i'm like, going to burst. hahaha:D well..can't exactly blame me you see, the sardine sandwiches were really nice, the bread was soft with just the right amount of bounce and the sardine tasted...like sardine. hahaha:) the triangular curry puff thingie was also very nice, had the adequate amount of spiciness for people who don't dare to eat spicy stuff. hah:)
had quite a nice day today:) we had practical for three whole periods...doing something about floating leaf circles and sodium hydrogen carbonate:) *beamz*

today's a relatively slackish day...got back gp and SATs:) hehehe...got 60.5 marks for gp (our whole class will prob pass after moderation..hopefully:D) and 1310 for SATs. not satisfied with neither of them though:) looking at my essay, i feel that i can do much better than this. hahaha:) elywn (is that how his name is spelt?) is scary...he got like 45 marks for his essay (?!?!)...and michelle got the highest in my class for SATs:) i shall aim high for SATs next time! hope we get another mock one. it was relatively fun doing it. my first attempt. hahaha:D
hmmz. fungi cut her hair. and there's a fin at the back. hmmz. hahaha:D when i asked her why she cut her hair, she went 'cool! funky!' eh.

i'm very impressed by reizhen...and how God is perpectually in her life as her number 1 love and how she'll write down in her blog what God has done for her in her life and how she's enjoyed His company through the days:)
indeed, God has always done great things for me in my life:) when i think about the stuff i've went through ever since i've come to know Him (time spent on bible study, tears and anguish i've experienced after telling my parents about my faith...blah blah), it just can't be compared to the joy and reassurance that God has given me whenever i asked Him for comfort, for advice, for guidance, for answers to questions i can never have answered without His word. For every moment which i have given to Him, He has turned it into something wonderful and given it back to me:)
and truthfully, i've never really experienced so much intense happiness in my life before i've accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and saviour:D yepz.

although i've merely spent a short time with it (ehz, less than a day), its death greatly saddened me. it's so interesting to see how much life this little fish has in her... it'll flicker back and forth in the water, and it'll move in one direction, then suddenly flip and change direction.

ah wellz. seems like steph was really sick on thursday:D so..yepz, she didn't pon:) she was very very sick:)
today's a very interesting day:) went to school today to have the principle asking herself whether she should be nice enough to give us another full-day..hahhaa:D we cheered and that kinda settled the full day. then we had mass dance:D in our uniforms! and ties!:D did 'whiney whiney', 'neutron dance' and 'i want you'. it was originally the couple dance, but then they changed it. me and peilee were like 'neither of us know how to dance the male part!' hahaha:D
then we had mini rehearsal on lining up the driveway for the minister of environment tomorrow... which is kinda stupid. hahaha:D after that, mangai suddenly had the brilliant idea of going back to nyj and somehow or another, five pple ended up going back to nyj together:D (me, steph, mangai, corinne and rux) hehehe...teachers seem very happy to see us!:D and some seniors. hahaha:D
for ccs seniors, saw qinglan (talked to her for a long time:D), wanni, liting, yuanqian, yi jian, forgot her name, forgot his name and forgot his name. hehe. for bball seniors, saw baa(buddy!), maa, carrie, si ning, shi nee, jie ru (whom i talked to! remember her? she gave me my first ever piggy back!), stella(she didn't talk to me, just stood at the side and secretly grinned away) and kaitlyn:D
for bball pple, i saw shuwen, li ling , jia ying, candy(!) and lisze:D hahaha. li sze nearly wanted to kill me when i forgot her name:D saw the new bball captain too:D from cedar. looks quite ...un-captain-y:D
then...saw lots of former classmates as well:D jieyu, sizhen, michelle (lim), candy, jiayin, calvin, davina, jessie, eugene, kiatyee and zhi bin! and guess what? zhibin and liyu went out to watch a movie together before! hahaha:D so amusing:D i wonder if they're going out:D okayokay..shouldn't speculate too much...shall just wait for the news to reach me:)
OG mates! saw rosa (so happy to see her!:D), kimhong (could only talk to her for a very short time...'cos she had lessons:) promised to call her though), weiyang (though he disappeared after me and rosa talked to my classmates for a few mins), you rong (he didn't seem surprised. maybe he was too stoned to notice that i wasn't in the sch anymore. haha), darlene (she had first aid duty) and ernest:)

for other pple, i saw Ingrid (she's a female!), some former band person, yong hong, benjamin, hui chin, mr lawrence (nice gp teacher! he's brilliant), mrs boo (former gp tutor, whom steph says looks like mr leslie toh), mrs judy tan, lin lao shi (chinese society teacher, the young and hip one who goes to ktv:), some other chinese society teacher whom i respect a lot:), mr harnes (is that how u spell his name? he was so nice even when we were taught by him personally. said we look familiar to him. hahaha:D) and the principal (who just gave me a nod when i bowed to her...ah wellz:)
oh guess wat? apparently i'm so famous in nyj for the first three months that someone called Lina knows me when she saw me. *ego burst* nah...kidding:) seriously speaking, i still dunno how she knows who i am. hahaha:) and melissa (from primary school) saw me! twice! and she didn't say hi to me. ah wellz:)
then went to corinne's house and ate:D and we watched twins effect. could only watch half of it 'cos it was already 3 something and we had to go to macpherson fsc. first time there:D went there to see how it's like...hahah:D quite nice pple i guess:)

today's a relatively peaceful day...nothing too stenuous for the brain:) and mr lim's chem tutorial seems to be more...interesting these days. very thankful for such a nice chem teacher:D he makes chem more bearable...hahaha:)
we had someone new coming in for chinese society today! someone called li xue:D former cedarian. singaporean too:D so now the number of singaporeans in chinese soc has increased to ...four. hahaha:) ah well. apparently, another one is thinking of joining us...haven't made up her mind though. the society's still very much lacking in guys:D
had two j6s and one j8 visiting us today:D and three j2s...hahaha:)very humorous buncha pple...we were brainstorming for ideas for the upcoming performance on national day. ah well:) let's just see how the play will turn out to be:D you can look forward to an original (all the ideas are contributed by US!) and humorous (yepz:D it's gonna be funny:D some of the stuff in the play really did happen in real life) play on the day itself.

chinese society's requested to put up a play for national day performance...i seriously wonder if we're competent enough to set up a play by then:) hahha...even if we are, i wonder at the number of people that's required to act in the play. ah well:)
they still haven't returned us biology and gp. the longer the dragged, the more i'll settle into my comfortable state of 'it's-just-another-normal-schoolday' mode. i want the rest of my exam results!

ah wellz... didn't have a very nice day today, firstly, i forgot to bring my gi and pe shirt, so can't go for taekwondo...secondly, ehz. wellz. today's a very sleepy day:D hehehe...

judge today wasn't particularly very nice though...neither was the person giving commands. at first i was rather pissed off at the judge's extremely obvious disinterest in looking at us do our stance, but after scolding the judge and promising to kick the person giving commands when we reach black belt and train extremely hard to be very good, i've decided to ...ehz. wellz. forgive them afterall:D
today's sermon was very good:D sermon's by pastor dinah lee! and apparently pastor dinah lee hasn't preached for two years! *gasp* hahaha:D 'cos hui chun says that in the two years she was there, she hasn't seen her preach before. yepz:) so i guess i'm very lucky to hear her preach...she preached on the everlasting topic of love:D
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." and who else is actually able to die premeditatively for another person? or to even die for someone whom you don't like? for we were sinners, and God disliked sinners, so to him, we were like enemies...and yet He still chose to die for us. can a normal person actually possess such love? can you actually think of a person who possesses such love?:)
and it's because of God's love that i try to do my best to love others as well. to care for the people around me, to grow in the concern for them:) I just wanna let other people feel the love in their lives too:) and the origin of my love for people comes from God himself:) just like the source of energy for plants comes from the sun. yepz:) hehehe:D

got 3 papers back today...did extremely horrible for them...kinda expected it but still. got 33.5 for my chem, 34 for my maths and i passed my econs:)...hahahaa. my greatest hope is in biology..'cos to me, bio was the easiest out of the four. ah wellz:)
i asked mr lim if i can drop chemistry...he's very nice:) after a lot of gestures and what-nots... he concluded by saying if i did quite okay for my other papers, i can consider continuing with chemistry, if i did rather badly for the rest, it's okay if i drop chemistry. ah wellz:) chemistry is the major bane of my life. at least i like maths. some chapters anyway.

i think she's going to die soon, sleeping more and more each day, getting weaker and weaker each day..ah well:) hope she'll survive till next year:)

taekwondo tournament's finally over...don't think i'll ever forget it... it's amazing i didn't dream of my white belt pattern last night:) hahahaa:)
we went there expecting a large hall whereby there're spectators on all four sides, but eunos cc failed to meet our expectations... it was in an open area with a cover:) ah wellz:) turns out that the air-coned hall is occupied by a malay wedding:) *grInz* yeah.. all the individual events started out first:) white belt individual was the second of the lot:) and i was number 32:)
did the pattern with someone called cai ying from temasek jc and some guy which i didn't ask the name of:) *heh* the first list of people who got into the semi finals that was churned out included all three guys from vj who took part:) and none of the girls. not me, not jits nor hui xian. at first we were like...oh okay. fine. maybe we didn't put in enough power:)... then when we watched the semis...we grew indignant. the girls who got in were like much less of a standard than us... ah wellz. so naturally we started to grumble:) *grInz*
then...it turns out that the first list was wrong. hahahaha:) so they displayed the correct list of participants who got in and lo and behold! me and hui xian were in the top 30:) poor jits didn't get in though...ah wellz. and only the top 15 got to get into the semi-finals:) so now...two guys from vj (leonardo and lifei) and two of us, hui xian and me got in:) cai ying got in too:) and she's really good...think she got the highest score during semis or something similar...and she knows cailin (primary school friend)!:D

but i didn't do well in the semis...chin-ta says my shouting was good, my punches and blocking were done very well...but my kick wasn't fast enough...ah well:) nvm...in the end, only leonardo got into the finals, with 5 other people or something similar:) and he got third overall for individual:) so cool! i'm so proud of him! hahahaa:)
yeah... anyway, i'm very proud of cheryl and youyun as well:) hahahaha:) 'cos you yun got first for green belt individual (or izzit blue? can't remember...should be green) and cheryl got second for brown belt individual:) it's very sad that the black belt individuals didn't get anything...all three of them (kirit, lionel and zhi heng) got into the finals...but only lionel got bronze or something similar:) it was so obvious that the judges were biased, especially when zhi heng did like a new perfect black belt stance... i mean, for goodness sake! he's a second dunce already...so is lionel though:) and sheesh...it's like other schools also commented that they though he would win because of how perfectly he executed all the moves...ah wellz. stupid judge. they also mark them 0.5 points lower than the TJ pple.
but the black belt team did an excellant job:) with kirit, zhi heng, lionel and samantha inside:) they got gold! hahahaha:)
and white belt team! we got gold too! *beamz*:D it was SO scary... we kinda thrashed the other jcs in the first round (only two rounds for team...) with a score of 24.7:) beautiful! and the guys' team got a score of 24.5...so we thought: hahaha! we can get gold and the guys get silver:D

[taekwondo part 2]
however, during the finals, one of the tj team ( which had cai ying and two other individuals who got into the finals) did very well and tied with us with the score of 25.2...and there was a tie-breaker...ah wellz:) so we kinda became quite stressed...hahahhaa:) by that time it was like 8++ at night:) we've been competing since 2 in the afternoon... and before that we were all becoming a little crazy from no dinner, fatigue and muscle ache. hahaha:) and we did the chicken dance!:D
yeah, anyway, tie-breaker...the tj team screwed up the second part of their stance...i think we screwed up ours too...but it doesn't matter. 'cos the judges probably decided beforehand who would win...'cos we won them by 1.0 points!:D woohoooo:D we rule! hahaha:) we got 8.5 from judge 1, 8.4 from judge 2 and 8.3 from judge 3:D the tj team had 8.0, 8.0 and 8.2:D
so in the end, out of the 18 people whom we sent down to compete, 16 got at least one medal home:D ah...feels so good:) tj sent down 50+++ people...and they had the same number of gold medals as us... 3 gold medals. ah wellz...but they got more bronzes...so in overall, we got second and tj was first...sigh. ah wellz, they should have counted by percentage:D
then we went to eat macs!:) at like 10++ at night:D the school sponsered:D hehehe...stayed there till 11.30pm:) reached home at 1am after fetching jits home and slept at 2 after smsing lionel and huixian and peilee about stuff around...hahaha:) oh...i forgot to mention, seems like all of the black belt guys are attached.. *grInz*
felt much closer to all of the taekwondo pple after the competition...quite natural as well i guess, since we spent so much time together training and everything else:D guess the competition really pulled all of us together:)
hehehe...will never forget this competition:) or the people for the matter:D

all of the east unit people!:D *beamz* we're so small...sniff.
small...but with a big vision:D yeah!

tomorrow's the compeitition...hehehehe:D we were training and training both yesterday and today...the girls' team was super enthusiastic yesterday for training...but our energy ran out today..hehehe:) guys' team improved a lot on their kicking. we've practiced so much our timing's like...almost the same already or something:) brilliant...just hope we dun panic and fumble and lose timing tomorrow:D
my bio revision's on the way:D yeah!:D still way behind time though...hahaha:D

taekwando training this morning was grueling for my poor soles... it's definitely not advisable for someone to walk around barefooted at Kembangan CC... disastrous floor...you'll rupture your poor capillaries and deprive your muscle cells of oxygen by doing that... not forgetting that you'll be sending lots of electrical impulses down your pain receptors or something:) ah wellz:)
i think i'm complaining quite a lot:D hahahaha:)
competition's on saturday! and they took out the white-yellow stance...which kinda made everything like 75% easier or something similar to that...wish me and jits good luck!:)
went to zi wei's house after taekwando for care-grouping cum study session *grInz* there was a nice swimming pool! and very noisy children:) ah wellz... and there's a sauna in the toilet! not very big...but a sauna nevertheless... and a very high tech security system...hahahaa:)

got a piece of sad news yesterday...a j2 senior from the S4 faculty committed suicide on monday...sighz. she's a buddhist btw. and the last time S1 fac cap was crying when the principal broke the news to her on tuesday...saw it during taekwando training... ah wellz.

ooof. i'm so sick of chinese...been doing chinese hw for these two days:) gonna finish up gp long-past hw for the next day too:D and to pack my room (and files) so as to prepare for proper revision:D yeah! brilliant. i feel accomplished already. hahahaha:) nah...just that i've never bothered much about exams in the past. sucky.

i like the idea of me being a deep thinker:D *grInz* hahaha! as for whether i AM a deep thinker, that's another question... although i do prefer to remain as a nice innocent person who knows nothing about the evils of the world, living my life to its purest:D *hehehe*

hmmz...i can't help thinking about the coming of the end days too...all the stuff popping up here and there...all predicted in the bible...it's coming around relatively fast. i wonder how much time we have left...hahaha:)

i just watched 'True Courage' ...very touching. very saddening. heh:) think for once channel 5 did something good...by bringing out the actual cases of SARS to singaporeans...allowing us to have a closer touch with what they really did for us...enabling us to appreciate them much more...to feel for them more of the heart, than out of respect to them for their jobs:)
had taekwando training this morning...zhi heng told us to be there by 8...in the end the official training only started at nine. ah wellz:) was quite odd when we found out that what zhi heng taught us was a bit divergent from what terence sir was teaching us today...we recorded the timing for the teams too:) hmmz...apparently there're five per team now...but terence sir already has in mind who's to be in the team and who's going to be a reserve...sighz. i hope i'm in! *crossed fingers*
went to the library to study...or rather to do the chinese holiday hw:) do you know this is the first time in dunno-how-many-hundred years i'm actually doing some homework at the start of the holidays? scary what jc can do to you...had a nice time with jits and guan:) though the library was freezing me to death...hahaha:) haven't finished my chinese hw though...

hmmz. i forgot to mention that we went for marche's on sunday evening!:D me and jits saw yun and her bf, michelle teo and a guy (izzit her bf too?), michelle goh (*grInz* whose bf couldn't join us:), chiew and jon, shauna, yengyong, isobel, tracy, joanne, lisa and meizhen:D (i hope i didn't miss out anyone...)
was sitting at a nice round table with isobelly, joanne, tracy, jitsy and mich.goh:) hehehe:) walked around marche's a few times wondering what to eat (didn't have much of an appetite...from eating too much the previous night...i bought green curry instant noodles from 7-11 at 2++ am! poor ziwei, sharilyn and mingxiu were still studying for their chinese AO level paper..)...finally settled on marinated boneless chicken leg. ah wellz:) was very surprised when lisa saw me, exclaimed my name and hugged me. i was like 'eh?'
yeah...had a nice time talking to the pple at my table:D mich got full refund for her beef stew with something rice 'cos she found a strand of hair inside while eating halfway...hahaha:D and she wanted to buy us crepe... so sweet! but too bad we've already bought it. ah wellz:)
saw helen too:) (friend from nyj)... apparently she can't make it back to ny...ah wellz:) but she still goes out with candy and yvonne:D

yeah...went on friday. was feeling all not-so-happy and not-so-awake after the exhaustive soccer match (which i owe credit to for causing me to lose my voice:D) whereby poor vj lost to jj...and it's just my luck that the driver of the taxi i hopped onto is a father of someone in the jj soccer team. he was there supporting his son. ah wellz:)
yeah...reached orchard hotel late...poor junting had to come out of praise and worship to fetch me in for registration:) hehehee:) preaching was very effective though:) very inspiring as well. hahaha:) had sermon after preaching...double teaching! hahaha:) can't remember what i did for the rest of the night after climbing up the stairs to our room on the 11th floor (we were at the third floor auditorium)...oh guess what? the arrangement of the room i was in (1104) was surprisingly similar to the room me, qing and iso had in the hotel in malacca...except that the room is smaller and now has a minibar, a safe and a hairdryer:D hahahaa:) ended up sleeping at 2++...and i seriously can't remember what we did. hahaha:)
second day was more packed with activities:) we had a workshop... and gala night was full of fun, lameness and mischief. then hope nite was crazy...with the imitation of all sorts of advertisements (including the recent nike one) and wonderful skits put up by other groups:) especially the young adults group:D they imitated pastor ben and what-nots. hahaha:) very amusing:) and high praise was exhilerating:)
slept at 3++ on sat night...after much sharing and what-nots:) hehehee... think God really touched all of us in many aspects throughout the camp:) looking forward to next year!

hmmz. i've been having emotional ups and downs here and there throughout last night due to me stating that i'm going for church camp last night...exhausts me rather. slept for 7 hours but still could barely keep myself awake throughout the day...hahahaa:) mum literally dragged me out of bed this morning to talk to me...at least now i know more about what she thinks of my faith:)
oh! the school library has Analog! hahaha. so cool!:D Analog's another type of science fiction short stories monthly magazines...sort of like Asimov:) i used to subscibe to Asimov...until the magazines stopped coming and i didn't know how to continue the subscription...ah wellz:) some stories are so beautifully crafted they just whirl you off into the story itself:) pretty:D
had taekwando training today:) for the Inter-Junior Collegiate Taekwando Championship 2003...hahaha:) sounds cool right? actually i think it just means inter-jc taekwando competition...nevertheless, it'll look good on the cca record:D *grInz* but oh man! the stretching! and the punching! do you know how exhausting it is to exert max strength for every punch? at the end of it all i felt as if i've gone running or something similar to that...the stretching too... samantha says we have to be able to touch our forehead with our raise kick at the end of the two weeks or something similar to that...and we tried to do a split for warmups...do you know how long it's been since i've done one? 5 years! last time i did a split was when i was still learning wushu in primary school...for warmups too. how sucky. ah wellz:) and the coach is still going to reselect people for the teams. ah wellz to that too...
i'm pissed off at my sis. AAARGHH.

muahahahaaa... i'm currently typing away on the computer repairman's laptop...hhahhaaa. 'cos the computer man promised to help us get all the components done up by thursday, then he dragged it to today...then he couldn't have it done...and seeing that i have to finish typing out the chinese project by tomorrow, he decided to let me use his laptop! wonderful:D he has like all the majorly new components in the computer world or something similar. ah wellz:)
stayed up till 1 something to make konnyaku jelly for the chinese society handing down on sat... then was too tired to wake up for chem makeup practicals...let's just say that prospect of travelling an hour++ to school in the early moments of a beautiful morning isn't exactly very thrilling...ah well. so i lazed in bed till 9+ when i started to feel guilty for skipping chem make up practicals. what bad habits i've picked up since the days of being guai in sec school:P
yeah...anyway, chinese society handing down was a major success... hahaha. seniors complimented us on the smooth running of the event...said it was much better than last year's. yeah! we rule! too bad i missed the Gen-Acts event at tanjong beach. so sad.
oof... i'm so sick of apples...hahaha. met qingz, stephie, dancing, yun yun, xin li and jing jun at east coast after church today:D all the food competitions between hc and vj have caused us to be so sick of food... ah wellz. i feel that it was a really blessed time:D whether at service (even when jits couldn't come today)...saw zi wei! yeah...our caregroup always seem to be lacking someone...hahahaa:D, or at east coast:D
well...homework seems to be posing itself as a MAJOR obstacle though...

yah anyway...to continue from yesterday's toilet trip adventures, i dragged myself up after a while to venture on, looking for a source of light, when ooof! i spotted another female toilet on the same level. hahahaha:D of course, i was such a blithing fool to actually believe that THAT toilet would be open when the other wasn't...yeah..so i went down the stairs with awkward steps due to the pain. oh yah. i vomitted on the stairs too. but i figured since no one really use those stairs anyway, the pple won't mind right?:) *grInz*
first floor toilet ain't open either (i still can't figure out what's the use of three unopened toilets in the perfomance theatre building? no use at all!) so i rushed to the classroom block toilets. wonderful classroom block toilets i tell ya!:D
heh...that's the end of the toilet trip adventures:)
i told my mum and dad about the conversion on saturday night... they didn't really take it very well on that night:) but God probably heard my prayers...'cos by monday night, we were talking normally again...like in the old times (ollldddd timmmeesss...)

i have one of those 'lasting throughout the whole day' kinda stomachache.
it started in the morning while i was happily waiting for weezi to come fetch me to school...i thought nothing of it, attributing the pain to one of those mini stomachaches...then it went off, and came back after 5 mins or so. this went on until i reached school, and hurried to the toilet:)
went to the canteen toilet... saw grace, said hi. by then it was around 10 mins before assembly starts...
so yah. i was in the cubicle, waiting for natural process to occur...after waiting for 8 mins ++, nothing happened. by then i could hear councillors outside of the toilet telling people to hurry up...so i figured i'd better get out of the toilet and proceed to the perfomance theatre.
yeah. then the same thing happened, so i decided to get out of the PT and rush to a toilet. the main point is...the pangs of pain became more intense, to the point that i was hardly able to hold myself up...so upon reaching the first female toilet i see (2nd storey of the PT block) i grabbed onto the handle, tried to turn it, and found that it's locked. not being able to stand it anymore (hehehe), i just collapsed onto the floor, leaning on the second floor toilet's door.
anyway, i have to go for writers' circle now... ah wellz. jitsy was 'kind enough' to tell me...bye for now!

just realised that on the 12th May last year, i was happily jeopardising a precious friendship, my reputation and my biology midyear exam grades by revealing who i liked. right smack in the middle of the mid year exams and i do such a stupid thing. hahaha:)
oh yah. forgot to mention that Lydia's homophobic. 'cos somehow or another we were talking about gays before the 2.4km run. oh! it's 'cos she said there's a gay camp in the army or something similar:) so now we've concluded that lydia's homophobic and sexist (in favour of females).she says she's going to be a feminist.
